Running a creative project alone is difficult. Someone needs to cheer for you from the background. Let it be me. I work with photographers, writers and contemporary artists.

You'll never know if your project is working unless you show it to someone. But who do you show your projects to? Family? They are tired of hearing about it already. Friends? They are going to support you no matter what, even if they think your project is boring. Colleagues? Too early. Besides, they are your competition! What if they rework your idea? With over 20 years in the industry as an editor, I can help you straighten your narrative or build a strong portfolio. Besides, I am under contract: I can't discuss your projects with others and can't rework your project. Let me be your mirror.

How this works:

Coaching: Running a creative project alone is difficult. Someone needs to cheer for you from the background. I know many tricks to keep you up and running! Ready? Camera, action! I work with photographers and writers; but all artists are welcome. Art themes interlace. I help you brainstorm your project without becoming a co-author or a competitor. Often, I speak to you about your projects without looking at your specific work. That way, we brainstorm your projects without technical details but with an in-depth idea analysis.

Support: If you want to address your process challenges, a personal situation, or some psychological creative blocks, I will be there for you to help you move on forward creatively.

Consulting: Individual work may be necessary if you prefer to keep your projects confidential; need a process support on-the-go; or need to be safe-checking your projects with an industry professional. This may help you understand how the audience may perceive your work, and help align your project with the industry standards.
Tutoring: Some clients prefer individual sessions because they want to be able to ask as many questions as they’d like. This is especially true with photography, which is a technological medium that depends on individual technological setups, equipment and software.

Please note, my ability to take individual clients is limited and I can only do it at the listed hours. Sessions are conducted via Zoom and last 45 minutes. The cost for 45-minute session is $120. You can also purchase a four session package for $450. This works well for someone who wants to work on a specific issue. You can also purchase a package of 8 weekly 45-minute sessions at a cost of $800. This saves you $160. Please note: if you purchase a bundle, sessions will be conducted weekly at the same time each week. That is, if we work in an ongoing way, we would meet once a week at the same time, for 8 sessions.

If you are new to this, purchase a single session. Then, if you’d like to continue, purchase the package for eight more sessions. Or purchase the package right now and save on your first session.
You don’t need to choose which type of coaching you want - I’ll meet you where you are at.

Cat helped me organize my home photo studio. I never thought it was possible at this little expense. I shoot photos of my grandchildren and they love it.

We sorted out the materials for my photo book. It was a success once it published.

I learned so much from Cat, about myself, about my art, about art in general; also she provides some overview of the industry standards and tells us what happens in real photography world.
